When reporting a problem, include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, Snapling version, and the steps that caused the issue. Do not email private photos or videos unless support asks for a specific example and you choose to share it.

Albums and iCloud

Where are my albums stored?

On your device and in the private CloudKit database of your signed-in iCloud account.

Why is sync paused?

Check that you are signed in to iCloud and that Snapling may use iCloud. Then reopen the app on a stable connection.

Why is a video missing on another device?

A compressed video above Snapling’s sync limit stays only on the device where it was imported.

How do I delete an album?

Open the album menu, choose Delete album, and confirm. The deletion then syncs through iCloud.

Photos access

Can I use Snapling without full Photos access?

Yes. Apple’s photo picker lets you select individual items. Importing an entire Photos album requires the broader access you approve in Apple Settings.

What happens to Live Photos?

Snapling imports the still image. The motion component is not copied into the album.

Snapling Unlimited

What plans are there?

Snapling needs a plan to make and edit albums. Choose Snapling Monthly, Snapling Annual or Snapling Lifetime; all three unlock the same features. Prices are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.

Is there a free trial?

Snapling Annual comes with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. When the trial ends, the yearly price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Snapling reminds you 2 days before it ends, and Snapling Settings shows the end date.

Is this a subscription?

Snapling Monthly and Snapling Annual are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Snapling Lifetime is a one-time purchase and is not a subscription.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose Snapling. You can also use Manage Subscription in Snapling Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

What can I do without a plan?

Albums you already made stay in Snapling. You can still open, read, lock, export and delete them. Making new albums and changing albums needs a plan.

I bought Snapling Unlimited before. Do I need to pay again?

No. Your one-time purchase is now called Snapling Lifetime and keeps everything unlocked. On a new device, tap Restore Purchases.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Snapling Settings and select Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.

How do I request a refund?

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Locked albums

Snapling uses Apple device authentication. Depending on your device, you may be asked for Face ID or your device passcode. Snapling does not receive or store biometric data.
